Liverpool FC Season Review 07/08
Our season ended… But i still gotta say that i’m very proud of the boys… Who gave their absoute all against chelsea… Just a little tribute to LFC…
Rafael Benitez. As cool as a cucumber… Whenever liverpool score i will be jumping around, when i watched the replay (which show benitez) it shows him sitting there w/o any emotion… Man, how cool!!!
Jose Reina. Good goalkeeper but sometimes gives me heart attack… Overall a dependable goalkeeper… His statistics speaks for itself…
Alvaro Arbeloa. Calm defender that seldom make mistakes… Always there when needed…
Steve Finnan. Unsung hero… Chances are limited this season due to the form of arbeloa but a capable replacement and great servant to LFC…
Jamie Carragher. Whats there to say bout this man… Makes importance tackles thou seldom score but what a loyal servant to the club…
Sami Hyypia. Another faithful servant to LFC… Entering into his 10th year next season… He maybe slow but always a rock at the back…
Martin Skrtel. Slow start but gradually improved and put in some MOTM performance… Will have a tough time next season when Agger fit again…
Daniel Agger. Didnt play much at all this season due to injuries… Next season, we’ll see a stronger and better Agger than before…
John Arne Riise. Same situation as Finnan… Lack of first team football this season… Known for his thunderous left foot strike… Been inmitating it a few times…
Fabio Aurelio. Injury-prone but no doubt bout his ability… Starting to deliver after settling down
Jermaine Pennant. Playing really well at the end of the season… A player with much potential… Hope that he will play to his fullest here…
Dirk Kuyt. A player that every team want… Doesnt score as many as i hope he would but his work-rate is second to none…
Yossi Benayoun. Talented and skillful player… Can change the game on his own… Scores lots of goals as well…
Lucas Leiva. Most left in picture drinking water… Cant find a picture of him alone… Young and talented… Hope to see more of him next season…
Javier Mascherano. Important player… Made crucial tackles and break up opposition plays… Glad that he’s ours…
Xabi Alonso. Wonderful passer of the ball… This season is not his best but next season i’ll hope it will be… Love his long range goals…
Steven Gerrard. Captain fanstatic… Forge a wonderful partnership with Torres and truly a liverpool legend that will be remember for many years to come…
Ryan Babel. Super sub… Pacy and he looks a gem in this liverpool team… More to come from him next season…
Harry Kewell. One of my fav player… Sadly he been injury all season all… Not sure if Kewell will be here next season… Hope he will… I believe that he got so much more to offer to LFC…
Andriy Voronin. Not well-known but a decent player… Been hit with injuries as well… More of him next season too…
Peter Crouch. Popular figure… Very under rated player and really hope he will stay at liverpool…
Fernando Torres. Leaving the best for last… 31 goals and counting… Just gotta love this guy… Or kid…

Looking forward to next season I agree with the comment that there will be more to come from Ryan Babel. As well as him I reckon that we will see more of Emiliano Insua, Damien Plessis and Kristzian Nemeth.

I agree with you. Our reserve team has really step up a gear and have really impressed me this season, catch them in action quite alot this season. I think Damien Plessis is a good addition to our midfield, very strong and powerful fellow. Emiliano Insua impressed me last season and would love to more of him next season. What to say about Kristzian Nemeth??? He’s like Torres in the reserve team. Terrifying thoughts of him in the starting line-up with Torres leading Liverpool attack next season. Ryan Babel, will only get better and better…
